Singer-songwriter John Mayer has just released a brand new single! It’s called “Paper Doll” and there is a ton of rumors circulating that it’s all about Taylor Swift! If you remember, Taylor and John dated back in 2009. Shortly after they broke up, Taylor released a song called “Dear John” in 2010. The song was clearly about John Mayer! If you don’t remember it, check out the song below!

Now that you have heard “Dear John,” you can listen to “Paper Doll” and see what you think: Did John Mayer really write this about Taylor Swift?

We’ve been waiting anxiously the last few months for the “Veronica Mars” movie to begin filming, and it has finally started! What’s even better? All the photos and updates the cast and crew are giving us along the way! Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars herself), has been especially helpful in sharing with fans and followers.

She tweeted the above photo with,

“First day of school…I might be a bit over excited?”

She also shared what she does with her on-set breaks!

“A break on the #VeronicaMarsMovie set for me. So obviously, I’m trying out this weighted hula hoop. @veronicamars”

Kristen isn’t the only one sharing insider secrets and fun! If you follow Veronica Mars on Twitter you will get even more gossip! Check out the photos they posted below, including a shot of “Neptune’s hottest club.”

It’s only been a couple days of filming and already so many awesome behind-the-scenes photos and chatter! We are so happy we get to be a part of the filming process by seeing it all as it happens. It will make watching the movie when it’s finally released that much sweeter!

If you live in New York City, you are one step closer to meeting Lucy Hale! She has is getting together with Bongo Jeans for a meet-and-greet right in Union Square! The event will take place on June 23rd at 2:00 PM, so you still have a little time to figure out how to get there. Lucy, tweeted the above photo with this to her fans:

“New Yorkers ! I’m coming June 23 for @bongojeans. 2pm in union square. Hope to see you there !”

Lucy just turned 24 last week, on June 14th! Bongo staff sent her a huge bunch of balloons to celebrate, and Mark. Girl sent her makeup and cookies! Lucy tweeted a pic of her presents,

“Thank you @bongojeans for my balloons ! And @markgirl for my makeup and heavenly cookies. Love you both xx “

 

 

She was also very appreciative to her fans for the birthday love she was receiving!

“All this birthday love I’m getting already is just blowing my mind. I’m a lucky girl. Thank you thank you thank you.”

Lucy also shared with followers a photo of her as a baby!

We are feeling kind of wild and crazy this week, so we thought we’d pick a DIY Nail Art Tutorial that would match! This nail art called Polka Dot and Zebra Print is done by SelinasNailArt and is the perfect design to go with our mood! You see sweet little polka dots on almost all fingers and then BAM! You are hit with a funky zebra stripe nail! We love it! Here is what you’ll need to achieve this fantastic look:

-Clear Basecoat and Topcoat

-Black nail polish

-White nail polish

-Pink nail polish (or another color you like better that will make your nails POP!)

-Black striper or thin paint brush/striping tool

-Dotting tool or toothpick

-Nail polish remover and cotton swabs to clean up fingers

-Makeup sponge for design

The polka dots for this nail art design are super easy, so if you don’t feel like trying out the zebra stripes or you don’t have a striper tool or paint brush, you could easily make just dots on all your nails! It would look super cute, too! If you do want to learn the full design, be sure to check out the tutorial video below!

The 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards, or MMVAs, were held on June 16th in Toronto, Canada at  MuchMusic Studios! The Awards show was filled with fabulous fashion, amazing music performances, and of course- awards! Performers included Psy (who co-hosted the event), Demi Lovato, Avril Lavigne, Ed Sheeran, Phillip Phillips, and more! Tons of singers who weren’t performing that night were also in attendance, and many of them presented awards to their fellow musicians. Presenters included Taylor Swift, Cody Simpson, Austin Mahone, Tyler Hoechlin, Josh Bowman, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Naya Rivera, Brittany Snow and a lot more celebs!

Taylor Swift (who won as our Fave International Artist) looks great in black and white on the red carpet!

  A blonde Demi Lovato poses for the camera! Later in the evening, she wins an award for International Video of The Year!

Scottish actress Karen Gillan, from “Doctor Who,” was spotted at the MySpace Launch Party on June 12th at the El Ray Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The star’s new flick, “Not Another Happy Ending,” was just released and will make it’s international debut at the end of the month, on June 30th, at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. We completely love the outfit she wore to the MySpace event, but what do you think of it?

Our favorite boys over at One Direction have been taking the music world by storm, but now they’ve decided to tap into a new branch: fragrances! Yes, you can soon WEAR One Direction on your skin! The scent is called “Our Moment” and is described on their site as,

“The sparkling, juicy and feminine fragrance is made up of splashes of fresh fruit and seasonal flowers infused with undertones of warm musk. All five guys, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik, are seen in the below black-and-white video hanging out and having fun while a nice slow acoustic version of “Moments” plays in the background. It’s a super fun promo for the fragrance, we think! The new perfume comes to the United States this August, so you can be wearing “One Moment” before school starts next year! It will be released alongside their 3D documentary, entitled “This Is Us.”

We love her when she’s singing about calling us, maybe, but can Carly Rae Jepsen really sing something from “The Little Mermaid?” She’s already recorded the single for “Part Of Your World,” so we guess we’ll have to wait and see! The new version of the song was recorded for the Diamond Edition release of the Disney flick which won’t be arriving til October 1, 2013. The orignal song was written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman and was performed in the movie we all know and love by Jodi Benson, who was also Ariel’s voice.

Carly isn’t the first singer to cover a song from “The Little Mermaid!” Ashley Tisdale covered Disney’s song “Kiss The Girl” a few years ago! If you don’t remember it, you can re-watch the video below!
