October 31st, 2014

Awesome! We thought we’d have to wait until after Halloween was over to see our favorite stars in their costumes, but alas! There are already photos posted of celebs donning their best which means we can share them with you early! Check out some of our favorites below.

Taylor Swift looks adorable (and comfy!) in her pegasus/unicorn outfit!

Luke Hemmings and Calum Hood decided to go as Mario and Luigi from Super Mario Brothers!

One Direction’s Liam Payne is mega creepy dressed as The Joker! (Wasn’t he also Batman a couple years ago?)

Ross Lynch of “Austin & Ally” also dressed up like The Joker!

Katy Perry‘s delicious costume is just one big Cheeto!

Justin Bieber is going as the Red Ranger from Power Rangers! Isn’t his little brother cute?

Pretty Little Liar Ashley Benson makes one super creepy doll! It looks just like the Mona Doll from the show!

Hopefully we can find even more pics of stars in Halloween costumes because it sure is fun to see what silly, awesome or scary thing they came up with!

Which celebrity costume did you like the best? What other stars do you want to see in Halloween costumes?

Happy Halloween 2014!

October 31st, 2014

Happy Halloween
It is finally here! It’s Halloween!! While you are painting your nails something creepy, dressing up you or your pet in costumes, carving pumpkins and watching your favorite Halloween flicks, we know your day is going to be totally awesome! We found a few eerie facts about today, also know as All Hallows’ Eve, that we thought you’d really like to learn!

-Halloween can be traced back 2000 years, when the pre-Christian Celtic festival, Samhain, was held each November 1st. “Samhain” means “summer’s end” in Gaelic, and occurred at the end of each harvest year. It was a time to gather up food and resources for the coming winter months!

-Samhain was also thought to be a good time to communicate with the dead! It was believed that spirits of the dead crossed over into the other world on this day, so it was obviously the best time to try to talk to them.

-The “trick” part of “trick or treat” came to the US and Canada around the late 1800s, and included pranks like knocking over outhouses! GROSS!

These facts are all pretty neat, but not nearly as fun as dressing up and going out trick-or-treating with our friends will be later on! No matter how you celebrate, have a very Happy Halloween!

What costume will you wear for Halloween? How are you celebrating?

TONIGHT on ‘Modern Family’: Halloween 3 Awesomeland!

October 29th, 2014

We can’t wait for tonight’s episode of “Modern Family”! It’s called “Halloween 3: Awesomeland” and it will indeed be awesome! Halloween is totally Claire’s (Julie Bowen) holiday, but she steps aside and lets Phil (Ty Burrell) take the reins this year turning what is typically a super scary night with a frighting theme, into AwesomeLand instead! We don’t know about you, but we wish our house could be turned in to AwesomeLand!

Each family member picks out costumes for the festivities and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) decides to be Princess Fiona, and tells Jay (Ed O’Neill) to dress up as Shrek. Instead, he decides to go as Prince Charming, full head of hair included!

Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Luke (Nolan Gould) have lots of make up to wear on the set this episode, but both of them look great – and scary!

Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) is dealing with not just Halloween, but his closing arguments for a huge case he is working on, and the stenographer being dressed like a spider is totally throwing him off! Even Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) is totally overwhelmed by everything the day has in store.

Check out some pics below from tonight’s episode of “Modern Family: Halloween 3 Awesomeland,” which airs October 29th at 9PM ET! Don’t forget to tune in to ABC and watch!

Will you be watching “Modern Family” tonight to check out their episode “Halloween 3: Awesomeland”? Which costume do you like best from the photos?

NEW Austin Mahone: “Places”

October 29th, 2014

Singer Austin Mahone was feeling quite generous on Monday, October 27th, and decided to share a brand new song he has been working on! It’s called “Places” and is super catchy. He posted the song on his YouTube page, saying,

“Here’s a new song me and Robert wrote since we’ve been in the new house! Hope you like it “

Yay! We totally love this new song and know it’s going to be an instant hit! Listen below and then read the lyrics too, so that you can sing along with us!

She know it, she know it
Yeah, yeah, she know it
She know it, she know it
Yeah, yeah, she know it
She know it, she know it
Yeah, yeah, she know it
She know it, she know it
Yeah, yeah, she know it

Places slicing confirmation just to see my girl
A million different faces
So many beautiful girls I’ve seen around the world
You know this situation
We drop it all now, and vacuum as it comes to me
You know that I’ll be waiting
Cause I’m dying for your company
Got you screaming out, oh woah, oh woah
Got you screaming out, oh woah, oh woah

Guess she knows that she’s all in my head
I can’t lie because we both know that it’s true
And she knows I’m impressed
By the way what she doesn’t what she do
By the way what she doesn’t what she do
By the way what she doesn’t what she do

Patience girl I know I been gone I been on the road
(I’m coming home)
I know that you been waiting
Stuck in a small town and you’re feeling all alone
You’re going through these phases
Hold it down girl cause you I’ll come for you
I know you’ve been frustrated
Give it time, I swear we’ll make it through

Got you screaming out, oh woah, oh woah
Got you screaming out, oh woah, oh woah

Guess she knows that she’s all in my head
I can’t lie because we both know that it’s true
And she knows I’m impressed
By the way what she doesn’t what she do
By the way what she doesn’t what she do
By the way what she doesn’t what she do

And she know, know, know, know
Because she know, know, know, know
Guess she know know know
Guess she know know know
Guess she know know know
Guess she know know know

Because she know, because…she know

We love when singers surprise us with new music! You can download the song for FREE right here!

Halloween Poll: Geeky Pumpkin Carvings

October 28th, 2014

Halloween is this week! Finally! We are so excited! Before the big day arrives, we need to carve a pumpkin and we aren’t sure which design we should go with. We looked up three really cool but geeky pumpkin carvings and want your opinion!

The first contender is Doctor Who themed! How cool is that police box?

The next ones we love are Pokémon themed and includes a Poké Ball and Pikachu!

The last nerdy jack-o-lantern we like is Harry Potter themed. What a fun pumpkin of witchcraft and wizardry!

Which of these geeky pumpkin carvings do you like best and think we should try to duplicate for our own jack-o-lantern? Vote below and then tell us in the comments why you picked that one!

Which design should we use on our jack-o-lantern?
