Are you a fan of Fox’s show “New Girl?” If so, you probably know that the season finale is coming up soon, on May 14th! But did you also know that there is a guest appearance by Taylor Swift in the episode, too!? All we know is Taylor will be playing an important wedding guest at Cece (played by Hannah Simone) and future husband Shivrang (Satya Bhabha)’s wedding named Elaine. And she must be pretty important for the episode to be named after her! It’s called “Elaine’s Big Day!”

Jade Thirlwall, from singing group Little Mix, was stopped to wave to fans and sign some autographs outside a studio in London, England on May 9th. You are more than likely already obsessed with “Come & Get It,” the newest single Selena Gomez released recently. The album on which the hit will appear has finally been titled! The name released for the album is: “Stars Dance.” What a cute name!

Selena’s BFF, Taylor Swift, gave her the ultimate nod of approval for the new album: she sent her a video where she was dancing to the new music! Selena shared with MTV News,

“She sent me a video and she’s, like, dancing. She’s like the cutest dancer, because she has this little ponytail and her little bangs, and she’s like just the cutest thing in the world. She’s supported me from my first record to this one, and she’s heard all of my stuff, so she’s really sweet.”

Selena and Taylor are just the most adorable friends! And if Taylor loves the new album that much, WE can’t WAIT to hear it!!

Popstar Magazine went behind the scenes with Cody Simpson as he sang his hit single “Pretty Brown Eyes!” Cody is one of the many singer/celebs to grace the pages of Popstar’s May issue, and we can’t wait to get the issue! Cody tweeted to his fans and followers,

Today, May 8th, the boys of Emblem3, (Keaton, Wesley and Drew) finally released a lyric video for their awesome hit song, “Chloe (You’re The One I Want)!” Not only is the song really fun and catchy, but the lyric video is just as great! We really love when lyric videos aren’t just some words scrolling by, but when they put a lot of thought into them and make them fun to watch, too! And E3 totally nailed it this time with love letter postcards to Chloe! Whoever you are, Chloe- you are one lucky girl!

You may not know it, but tomorrow, Thursday May 9th, is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day! Each year, the nation observes how important it is to care for all children’s mental health on this day.

The 2013 Awareness Day awards were held in Washington D.C. at the University of the District of Columbia Community College on Tuesday, May 7th. Accepting an award for her mentoring work, was Demi Lovato! She is a mentor to young adults who have substance abuse and mental health challenges. The administrator over at Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, or SAMHSA for short, Pamela Hyde, led the event with a focus on community.

Demi was super proud to be part of the important event, and told her Twitter fans,

“Honored to receive an award from @Sebelius + appear w/5 brave ppl sharing their resilience stories:  #HeroesofHope”

Every year, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City hosts an annual gala with a theme that the attendees follow for their evening’s fashion. The ball is hosted to celebrate the annual opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s upcoming fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. This year’s theme was “Punk: Chaos to Couture,” and as usual, some of the celebs took it far more serious than others! The gala took place on May 6th and surely had enough punk fashion to last us through to next season! Let’s check out some of the best, worst, and craziest dressed at the ball!

First we have Hailee Steinfeld. Those designs that look like flowers on her dress, are actually made out of safety pins!

Next is Taylor Swift, looking awesome as usual. She can pull off just about any look!

 Star of “The Vampire Diaries,” Nina Dobrev wore pants under a sheer skirt!

Kristen Stewart (above) wore a silk and lace one piece outfit, while her “Twilight” co-star, Ashley Greene (below), went with a big black and gold ball gown.

Gossip girl Blake Lively looked beautiful in her Gucci feathered dress.

While all the fashions we’ve seen so far were totally awesome, here are our three absolute favorites! We think these ladies went above and beyond the theme of punk and embraced the style totally!

Lily Collins dress, hair and makeup were already punk, but adding the safety pinned, studded and patched up jacket to it totally won us over!

Sarah Jessica Parker’s HUGE patterned ballgown, plaid velvet thigh-high boots and killer headpiece totally screamed PUNK! But did they scream to the chaos or the couture? Probably both!

Lastly, Beyonce was gorgeous in her Givenchy Couture by Riccardo Tisci dress! The ‘flames’ all over her dress matched her knee-high boots and her belt totally made the outfit.

All in all, we loved seeing all the different punk looks that the celebs donned for the Met Ball 2013!

In case you didn’t see it, Ariana Grande shared the CUTEST nail art she’s had done yet on her fingernails to her Twitter fans and followers over the weekend. Here’s what she said when she posted the above photo:

“Strawberry nails from the photo shoot yesterday by my girl @stephstonenails“

The nails were so crazy adorable that we decided we HAD to try to make our own! We found a great DIY Nail Art tutorial for you by Pixie Polish called Strawberries ‘n Cream, and is super similar to Ariana’s nails, if not cuter! Here is what you’ll need:

-Dark pinkish/red nail polish for base coat for half your nails

-Light pink nail polish for base coat for your other half

-Green nail polish or acrylic paint

-Yellow nail polish or acrylic paint

-White nail polish or acrylic paint

-Nail art paint brush or toothpick

-Striping tool or longer nail art brush

-Clear nail polish for top coat
