A safe haven for the imagination

We just found out that Justin Bieber is apparently Outer Space-bound! The nineteen year old pop star is going to be launched into space as part of the Virgin Galactic program with his manager, Scooter Braun. The program says it’s for “Space Tourists” and promises sub-orbital spaceflights and is set to launch early next year. The spaceship will send amateur astronauts, including the Biebs, into orbit 62 miles in altitude. It’s only for a few moments though before it will plummet back to Earth! JB isn’t the only celeb doing the program. Ashton Kutcher and Leo DiCaprio are also signed up for the program! Justin retweeted Richard Branson’s congrats about the news,

“Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts. Congrats, see you up there!”

Nick’s new show “Sam & Cat,” a spinoff of “Victorious,” and “iCarly” just aired on Saturday, June 8th! We waited what felt like forever for it to premiere, but it was totally worth the wait!! We absolutely loved the first episode! We won’t give too much away in case you haven’t seen it yet, but here’s a little background info about the show. Sam & Cat are total besties. Sam (played by Jennette McCurdy) is super tough and loud. Cat (Ariana Grande) is a totally sweetheart and a little silly. Though they are quite different, they are still the best of friends and roommates. They decide to combine their strengths and create an out-of-home babysitting business to raise money for their adventures together!

ABC Family’s hit show based on the books by Sara Shepard, “Pretty Little Liars” is about to premiere their fourth season! The mystery drama returns on June 11th to ABC Family and we cannot wait! Even more exciting, the series was also renewed for a fifth season, so we won’t be done with the “A” Team any time soon.

This season will surely be filled with secrets and suspense! There is still the mystery about what is in Wilden’s trunk. ABC Family has been giving out hints about it. Here are the hints from A herself so far:

Q1- Will it break if you drop it?

A1- It won’t break, but it might leak.

Q2- Is it something warm?

A2- It was warm. Some would even say hot.

Q3- Is it something small?

A3- It’s bigger than a scalpel, but smaller than a stretcher.

Q4 is “Does Toby know what it is?” but A hasn’t revealed the answer to it yet! On their recap show they gave an additional hint question: “What is too heavy to hold, but light enough to bury?” We are totally thinking it’s a body, but who knows! Maybe it’s a “secret”!

Also exciting news, “Pretty Little Liars” was just nominated for not one, not two, but THREE 2013 Teen Choice Awards! Nominations include the ‘Choice TV Show: Drama award,’ ‘Choice TV Actress: Drama award’ for Troian Bellisario (Spencer), and ‘Choice TV Actor: Drama award’ for Ian Harding (Ezra)!

Tune in to ABC Family on June 11th to watch the season 4 premiere of “Pretty Little Liars” titled “‘A’ is for A-L-I-V-E” and see what happens next in the world of the Liars and A!

“Little Mix,” the four member girl group from Britain, is getting bigger than their X-Factor dreams could have ever predicted! The girls were recently on the cover of Seventeen Magazine, and in the issue they showed their love of music, fashion, and each other! Check out the photo of Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall below and see what similar outfits we picked out that will give you the “Little Mix” vibe!

Now for a few pieces of clothing we think would fit perfectly into your “Little Mix” wardrobe!

This lace racerback tank from H&M has a bright funky pattern that we think the girls would love!

We found two dresses we totally loved at PacSun that scream “Little Mix!” The one above is called the Volcom Fortune Dress, and the one below is the Rehab Denim Overall Dress! Pair it with a distressed tee and it’s perfect!

We also found two bottoms at Urban Outfitters that we thought would be a great fit for their style! The shorts on the left are called the BDG Freja Embellished Mid-Rise Denim Cutoff Shorts with Foxwash Embroidery. The skirt on the right is called the Pins and Needles Floral Circle Skirt in Black Multi!

We found out during the Billboard Music Awards that singer and actress Miley Cyrus was going to come out with a brand new album! The first single off of it was released yesterday, on June 3rd, and is called “We Can’t Stop!” Just as Miley promised, the song is totally different than the other music we are used to from the former Disney girl! It also reminds us of a song Rhianna would sing. While it’s completely different than her other music, we still like it! It’s super catchy and we’ve already put it on our summer playlist! We don’t know what the rest of the album has in store for us, but if you want to hear “We Can’t Stop,” you can listen to the audio-only video below! Even though the 65th Annual Emmy Awards don’t air until September 22nd, we are already getting excited about them! It was just announced this week that past host Neil Patrick Harris is going to emcee the awards again this year, which is simply fabulous! He did such a great job a few years ago, we know he will do a super job again. Neil is pretty psyched too! He said,

“I couldn’t be more honored and excited to be hosting this year’s Emmy Awards.”

On May 30th, an event called the “Variety Emmy Studio” was held at the Palihouse Hotel in West Hollywood, California. Many of our favorite actors and actresses showed up to partake in the festivities and lead panels on their shows and categories. Let’s take a peek at some of the stars who showed up to the event!

You may have seen them in summers past, but maxi dresses are totally in this season- again! No matter which store you wander in to when you’re shopping at the mall, you are likely to spot some fashionable maxi dresses for the warm weather. We love how colorful and flowy they can be, and it’s hard for us to pick which one is the absolute cutest! We found one at H&M (left) called the Maxi Dress With Ruffle and another at dELiA*s (right) called the Tie Dye Maxi Dress that are our favorites. Which one do you like the best?
