We showed you what the latest trends on prom dresses are for this 2013 season, but what about accessories? Accessories can make or break an outfit, so let’s look at some of the top picks for this year!

Accessory number one: headbands! You can have awesome prom hair but having that extra sparkle will make you stand out even more! Try a bejeweled headband to add a touch of royalty to your prom dress! We love the Mirrored Rhinestoned Headwrap at Forever 21!

The next accessory that is big this season is a bold statement necklace. If your dress is one solid color, try a necklace with tons of shades! What about the Triple Layer Ombre Bead Necklace from Charlotte Russe? It’s many shades of pink would be great with your gown!

If your dress has lots of colors already, match one of them in your necklace or try a metallic or rhinestone! The collar style looks great with a strapless gown. We like the Glam Girl Statement Necklace, also from Charlotte Russe!

Yet another great accessory is a tiny clutch or wristlet for your essentials: phone/camera, lip gloss, eyeliner and mints! We found two we loved, both from DSW, both Lulu Townsend! The first is the Lulu Townsend Metal Mesh Cross Body Bag which comes in rose gold OR gold, so it will surely match your dress!

The next bag we found was the Lulu Townsend Bow Front Flap Clutch! It comes in black, fuchsia and turquoise, our fave being the turquoise. It reminds us of a little wrapped Tiffany’s box!

A last accessory would be jewelry for the fingers! Totally in right now are multi-finger rings! Check out the Surrender Multi-Finger Ring we found at Urban Outfitters! Sparkly!

Disney star Bella Thorne is super excited to be in the May issue of Teen Vogue! She tweeted the above pics from her photoshoot to her friends and fans and said,

What three words would you use to describe your personal style?
I would say fun. Different. Definitely stylish.

Who are your favorite designers?
I love Michael Kors! I also love Miu Miu shoes — they’re fabulous, I have so many pairs.

What’s on your wardrobe wish list?
I’m really into tall boots. I just got some new ones from Michael Kors that have these little gold studs. I have Valentino ones that I really love. Real, real tall boots!

When we went to New York Comic Con last October, we bought really cute hair bows made with old comic books and tape. It seemed like a simple enough idea, but we wanted to look up instructions on how to make them anyway, just in case. While searching for ideas, we found this SUPER easy tutorial from Tip Junkie on how to make a duct tape hair bow and we thought we’d share! It’s even easier than the comic book ones because there is no cutting of comics needed. Just snip, twist, stick, done!

Here is what you’ll need:

-Fun duct tape designs in whatever you like best in a few different colors/sizes

-Scissors

-Bobby pin or hair clip

Now you just need to snip, fold, stick and add the bobby pin!

For a full tutorial on exactly how to achieve the easy peasy duct tape hair bow, check out Tip Junkie’s website! You can even put a ribbon or elastic string throw it instead of the bobby pin and make it into a bow tie for your dad or brother! So cool!

We scoured Seventeen Magazine for the hottest Prom trends for 2013 and we found all kinds of styles! Then we went virtual shopping to show you the cutest dresses in those styles so your prom is a fashionable and memorable one! Here is what we found.

Seventeen says that lace dresses with high necklines are totally in. We like the City Studios Juniors Dress, Sleeveless Colorblock A-Line from Macy’s! The black and white colors are classy and elegant, and the short style is super fun!

Another popular dress this year is anything with sequins! At David’s Bridal we found another short prom gown that was a fun bright blue color with a sequined top! Perfect for dancing!

Seventeen also said that vintage inspired dresses are really in right now, so we found this really pretty lace and beaded flower gown at Prom Girl!

One last long gown we love for Prom 2013 is also a super popular hair trend: ombre! We found a gorgeous mermaid gown at Nordstrom! It even has sequins so it covers one of the other trends right now!

No matter what style you choose, make sure you are happy and comfortable in it and that it reflects you! You will have a great time at your prom and look fabulous at the same time if you are yourself!

“The Carrie Diaries” star AnnaSophia Robb was spotted in NYC getting brunch at Beauty & Essex. We loved her out-and-about outfit and thought we’d tell you how to find something similar!

First, you’ll need a white polka dot shirt to start the look. We liked the Dream Out Loud by Selena Gomez Junior’s Sheer Polka Dot Top from Kmart!

You will also need a pair of skinny khaki cropped pants! How about the ones from American Eagle called AE Skinny Crop Pant? They look perfect!

A denim jacket from H&M will go great on top of the outfit!

All that’s left is a pair of red flats! We are pretty fond of the Ellie Bow Skimmer flats from dELiA*s! They even have a bow on them, like AnnaSophia’s pair!
