The last episode of Fox’s super hit show, “American Idol,” was such a stressful one! The anticipated front-runner, Angie Miller, was booted from the show! The top two finalists are now revealed as Kree Harrison and Candice Glover! While Angie’s elimination was a very surprising one, we’re still very excited to see how Kree and Candice do in the season finale!

Angie talked to MTV News about what happened on Idol, and how proud she is of her two fellow contestants.

You are more than likely already obsessed with “Come & Get It,” the newest single Selena Gomez released recently. The album on which the hit will appear has finally been titled! The name released for the album is: “Stars Dance.” What a cute name!

Selena’s BFF, Taylor Swift, gave her the ultimate nod of approval for the new album: she sent her a video where she was dancing to the new music! Selena shared with MTV News,

“She sent me a video and she’s, like, dancing. She’s like the cutest dancer, because she has this little ponytail and her little bangs, and she’s like just the cutest thing in the world. She’s supported me from my first record to this one, and she’s heard all of my stuff, so she’s really sweet.”

Selena and Taylor are just the most adorable friends! And if Taylor loves the new album that much, WE can’t WAIT to hear it!!

Popstar Magazine went behind the scenes with Cody Simpson as he sang his hit single “Pretty Brown Eyes!” Cody is one of the many singer/celebs to grace the pages of Popstar’s May issue, and we can’t wait to get the issue! Cody tweeted to his fans and followers,

Today, May 8th, the boys of Emblem3, (Keaton, Wesley and Drew) finally released a lyric video for their awesome hit song, “Chloe (You’re The One I Want)!” Not only is the song really fun and catchy, but the lyric video is just as great! We really love when lyric videos aren’t just some words scrolling by, but when they put a lot of thought into them and make them fun to watch, too! And E3 totally nailed it this time with love letter postcards to Chloe! Whoever you are, Chloe- you are one lucky girl!

The nominees have just been announced for the 2013 Tony Awards! The American Theatre Wing’s Tony Awards, are an annual event celebrating the work and talent put into each Broadway play and musical. We don’t know how they are able to choose nominees, let alone winners, because we think every show on Broadway completely rocks and deserves an award! Every year, morning news show “Good Morning America” hosts a Summer Concert Series that happens every Friday morning during the summer! The performances all take place for the fifth year in a row at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, NYC. Hosting the Billboard Music Awards this year is Tracy Morgan, our favorite funny guy from “30 Rock.”  The 2013 awards show will air on May 19th from the MGM Grand Las Vegas, live on ABC.

To figure out the nominations, Billboard’s music charts are studied from February 27, 2012 to February 24, 2013. Things that are considered when deciding the finalists are things like album sales, how many downloads occurred for each track and album per artist, how many times each was played on the radio, any tours they did and social media interactions, amongst other things. After crunching all the numbers, there is a three-way tie for the lead finalist! They are Taylor Swift, fun. and Maroon 5! Each of the three lead finalist acts were nominated in 11 different categories.
