Hot or Not: Justin Bieber’s Hair

December 9th, 2014

Justin Bieber

Pop star Justin Bieber just keeps surprising us! The young singer decided to go platinum blonde for the holidays, and was spotted over the weekend with his brand new look. He stopped for a meet and greet with fans at West Coast Custom in Burbank, California on December 7th and everyone was surprised to see the new do! It even started a social media buzz with the hashtag #blondebieber!

You may recall when Justin was a child, he also dyed his hair platinum blonde, but he looked quite different back then, as he was just a little kid. We aren’t sure if we are digging the new look on the Biebs yet, but we’re getting used to it! What do you think about Justin Bieber‘s new hair?

Do you think Justin Bieber's platinum blonde locks are hot or not?

Taylor Swift: Billboard’s Woman of the Year

December 5th, 2014

Pop star Taylor Swift is Billboard’s Woman of the Year for 2014! She is on the cover of the new issue, which hits newsstands next week on December 8th. In the magazine, Taylor is interviewed about tons of things including her friends, dating, her new album and lots more!

If you want to read the full interview, you’ll need to pick up a copy at your local newsstand, but here is a sneak peek at what you’ll read!

About Being Single: “I, however, am 24, perfectly happy being alone, and one of the reasons I’m perfectly happy being alone is that no one gets hurt this way.”

About Having Besties: “I feel uncomfortable being the No. 1 priority in my friends’ lives — I want to be there to make their lives more fun, if they need to talk, to be there for spontaneous and exciting adventures, but I don’t want friends who don’t have a life outside of me… They have me in their life because they want me in their life, not because they gain from it.”

About Relationships: “You’ll notice a lot of celebrity-type people tend to surround themselves with people whose lives revolve around them. You’ll have a posse of these exciting and fashionable cling-ons, and it’s because those celebrities need to be fawned over.”

About “1989″: “Everyone, in and out of the music business, kept telling me that my opinion and my viewpoint was naive and overly optimistic — even my own label. But when we got those first-day numbers in, all of a sudden, I didn’t look so naive anymore.”

You can watch an additional interview with Taylor below where she talks more in depth about her choices musically and is totally funny, too!

What do you think about Taylor Swift being Billboard Magazine’s Woman of the Year 2014? Did you like her interview?

Piper Curda Covers Lady Antebellum’s “American Honey”

December 5th, 2014

american honey

Lady Antebellum‘s hit song “American Honey” is really great, so when we heard that “I Didn’t Do It” actress Piper Curda and her friend Lou Ruiz got together and covered it, we just had to hear it for ourselves! When the actress posted the duo singing, she said,

AYE. @louruizmusic & I dug into our country souls again, this time with some good ol Lady A. Enjoy!”

Want to watch Piper and Lou sing now? Watch below, and then sing along with the lyrics we posted!

“American Honey”

She grew up on the side of the road
Where the church bells ring
And strong love grows
She grew up good
She grew up slow
Like American honey

Steady as a preacher
Free as a weed
Couldn’t wait to get going
But wasn’t quite ready to leave
So innocent, pure and sweet
American honey

There’s a wild, wild whisper

Blowin’ in the wind

Callin’ out my name

Like a long lost friend

Oh, I miss those days

As the years go by

Oh, nothin’ sweeter than summertime

And American honey

Get caught in the race of this crazy life

Tryin’ to be everything

Can make you lose your mind

I just wanna go back in time

To American honey

There’s a wild, wild whisper

Blowin’ in the wind

Callin’ out my name

Like a long lost friend

Oh, I miss those days

As the years go by

Oh, nothin’ sweeter than summertime

And American honey

Gone for so long now

I gotta get back to her somehow

To American honey

There’s a wild wild whisper

Blowin’ in the wind

Callin’ out my name

Like a long lost friend

Oh, I miss those days

As the years go by

Nothin’ sweeter than summertime

And American honey

And American honey

What did you think about Piper Curda and Lou Ruiz‘s cover of Lady Antebellum‘s song “American Honey”? Do you like it better than the original?
