Official Music Video: “One Last Time” by Ariana Grande

February 17th, 2015

ariana grande one last time

We loved Ariana Grande‘s lyric video for her song “One Last Time,” and had a feeling that the swirling clouds in it were maybe a little indication of what the official music video would be about- and we were right! Ariana just dropped the action-packed video for “One Last Time” and it seems like it’s about being with the one you love in the last moments on Earth.

Apparently the world is exploding in the video because a huge comet is colliding with Earth, and Ariana wants to get a better look. She drags her cameraman slash on-screen boyfriend (who happens to be her old co-star Matt, from “Victorious”!) through the blaze and away from all the destruction to a place high up where they can watch the sky and perhaps say “goodbye”?

You can watch the official video below, and make your mind up for yourself on what is going on! Either way, we think it’s a great video and we love it! We think we’ll watch it again now!

What did you think of Ariana Grande‘s official music video for “One Last Time”? Would you chase a comet through the sky too?

You already know who all the Oscar Nominees for 2015 are, but we thought we’d share a little bit more about our favorite category of all: the Oscar Nominated Animated Shorts! We like to watch the Live Shorts too, but sometimes they can be kind of sad. The Animated ones, however, always please! Here are the trailers for each one of the five shorts, in no particular order!

the bigger picture

First up is “The Bigger Picture,” directed by Daisy Jacobs and Christopher Hees. Watch it below!

the dam keeper

The next short comes from Tonko House LLC and is called “The Dam Keeper” by Robert Kondo and Dice Tsutsumi.

me and my moulton

Another short is titled “Me and My Moulton” by Oscar winner Torill Kove.

the single life

Joris Oprins wrote the next short, which is called “A Single Life.”

feast

The last short is one we’ve mentioned before! It’s from Disney by Patrick Osborne and Kristina Reed and is titled “Feast”!

In case you didn’t know, all the Oscar Shorts play for a limited time in theaters in the weeks leading up to the Oscars. This year, the Animated Shorts are also available to download at home on Amazon Instant and iTunes! That means you can watch the shorts yourself and decide which one you think should win the Oscar! Maybe your fave will win an award and you can feel proud of your pick!

The 87th Oscars, aka The Academy Awards, will air live on ABC on February 22nd at 7:00PM ET and will be hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. Don’t forget to tune in!

Which Animated Short is your favorite? Did you see them all in the movie theater?

Who is the Next Spider-Man?

February 11th, 2015

spider-man

It was just revealed that Sony Pictures and Marvel are finally teaming up for future Spider-Man movies! That means many changes will be coming to the Spider-Man franchise. Marvel‘s Kevin Feige shared a statement about the merger:

“I am thrilled to team with my friends at Sony Pictures along with Amy Pascal to produce the next Spider-Man movie. Amy has been deeply involved in the realization on film of one of the world’s most beloved characters. Marvel’s involvement will hopefully deliver the creative continuity and authenticity that fans demand from the MCU. I am equally excited for the opportunity to have Spider-Man appear in the MCU, something which both we at Marvel, and fans alike, have been looking forward to for years.”

The chairman and CEO of SonyMichael Lynton, said,

“This is the right decision for the franchise, for our business, for Marvel, and for the fans.”

Sadly, the change means that Andrew Garfield, the actor that played Spider-Man in the last two movies, won’t be playing him in future ones. We’ll miss his portrayal of the superhero. He was so awesome! But we look forward to seeing who steps in to his shoes.

Who do you think the new Spider-Man will be? Who do you wish you could see as the superhero?

More craziness ensues when a dogged jewel thief played by Christian Campbell chases the pair all over the city.

In the first few moments that Monica and Liz meet, Liz sizes up Monica pretty well. Watch the newly released clip below and see just what she has to say!

New Pretty Little Liars Tonight: “The Bin of Sin”

January 27th, 2015

 PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

“Pretty Little Liars” is back again tonight with an episode titled “The Bin of Sin.” We think it probably refers to that large bin that Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) found in last week’s episode in the storage unit. They think it probably has Mona‘s body inside, but we don’t think it will be that simple. Especially because of that time Mrs. Grunwald said she could see Mona (Janel Parrish) in the cold ground- but who knows!

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

At the end of last week’s episode, Caleb discovered that the name on the storage unit where the bin is contained is none other than Hanna‘s! This means that A is trying to frame Hanna (Ashley Benson) for the murder of Mona, which would totally never happen. They were besties at one point, after all!

 PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

In the new episode, Hanna will be on the warpath trying to clear her name and assumes it’s Alison (Sasha Pieterse) behind the whole thing. Meanwhile, Aria (Lucy Hale) has a confession to make to Ezra- what could it be!? Also, Spencer and Toby (Keegan Allen) continue to quarrel and Spencer keeps putting Toby‘s new job as a cop in jeopardy.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

A fun fact about tonight’s episode: author of the PLL books, Sarah Shepard, will make a cameo again! You may remember in season 1 she popped in playing Ezra‘s class’s substitute teacher, and she will be back tonight too! Fun!

Watch a preview of tonight’s episode below!

Make sure you tune in tonight, Tuesday, January 27th, at 8:00 PM to watch PLL on ABC Family!

Are you going to watch Pretty Little Liars tonight? What do you think will happen this episode?
