Q. What is Dolly Duels?

A. Dolly Duels is a turn based battle game.

Q. How do I play?

A. Each user chooses a character, gives it a name and an origin, and uses that character to duel another user. In a duel, you use items and spells to do damage to the opposing character. When one user runs out of health points, the duel is over.

Q. What happens if I win?

A. If you win a battle, you will be awarded experience points and stats.

Experience points depend on the amount of experience your opponent has. Winning a duel against a user with a high level of experience will award you with more experience points than if you won a battle against a user with a small amount of experience.

Stats depend on which character you are battling.

If you win a duel against a wizard, you will gain more stat points than if you win a duel against a giant.

Winning a duel will add a “win” to your “Win/Loss Record.”

Q. What happens if I Lose?

A. If you lose, you will not lose experience points or stat points. Your current experience and stats will remain the same as before you entered the duel.

Losing a duel will add a “loss” to your “Win/Loss Record.”

Q. How do I get more items/spells?

A. You can unlock new items and spells by gaining experience points. A certain amount of experience points will unlock each item/spell, and it will be available for you to use in the next duel you participate in.

You can also buy items/spells in the store using Cartoon Dollars.

Q. Does my HP ever increase?

A. The amount of Health Points you have will increase by gaining experience points. A certain amount of experience points will add a higher level of Health Points to your HP meter, making you harder to defeat.

200 HP is the highest amount that you can have at once.

Q. Can I change my character's appearance?

A. Yes and no.

The character that you use in duels will always have the same outfit. You are not able to change anything about their appearance.

However,

You can change the appearance of your avatar. You can buy clothes and accessories for your avatar in the store using Cartoon Dollars. Your avatar displays on your profile, and on other sections of the site to distinguish who you are.

Q. Can I have more than one character?

A. Yes. You can save your character to a “Character Bank” and create a new character. If you ever want your old character back, you will have to pay for it using Cartoon Dollars.

Q. Are there any locked characters?

A. Yes. There are two characters that you can unlock after gaining a certain amount of experience points. You can also purchase these characters in the store using Cartoon Dollars.
