Clear Your Skin In 3 Days Or Less

When you get a zit, you don't want to wait a week or more and hope that the zit goes away. You know that you should keep your hands off your face, drink a lot of water, and wash your face twice a day – but you got a zit anyway! Here's how to get rid of it as quickly as possible.
- Many so-called ‘acne fighting' products don't quite do the job. For a better shot, make sure you choose a product that contains salicylic acid. This ingredient is like napalm for zits.
- Don't pop it. Don't pick it. Don't touch it. Zits are like your little brother: if you ignore it, it will go away a whole lot faster.
- It may sound crazy, but beat an egg yolk and apply it to your face with a cotton ball. Let it dry for about 15 minutes and wash it off with cool water. It helps shrink your pores and dry out that big zit.
- Another homemade cure, but this one is for overnight: mix equal parts baking soda and water to create a paste and coat your zit with it. Leave it on while you sleep and wash it off when you wake up.
- Tea tree oil is another great solution. Dot it on your zit and let it clean the impurities and heal your skin at the same time.

Now That's It Gone…
Don't let it come back. Here are just a few tricks that will help you stay zit free.
- The trick is to keep your pores free of clogging oil. Don't scrub your skin too much – it will only dry you out and your skin will overcompensate by producing twice as much oil.
- Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you can't eat French fries or chocolate. You won't have slim thighs by indulging in hot fudge every day, but you won't get zits either.
- Wash off your make up before you work out. The combination of make up and sweat is all you need to create a whole slew of new zits to replace the one you just got rid of.
- Sleep for 7 or 8 hours a night without interruption. This will build your immune system which will help you fight off the next zit.
- Calm down. Stress triggers hormones which trigger oil production which trigger zits.
Be consistent. Keep washing your face everyday. It only takes a day to allow your pores to clog up and produce a new zit.
