2006 Horoscope: Cancer

Your Room

…is your haven, Cancer. What’s up with everyone wanting to go away for Spring Break and talking about traveling to Europe? You like it right where you are, as long as you have control of your own little spot.

And you know how to make it cozy, too, Cancer, welcoming your friends whenever they drop by. You’re a great hostess and will be throwing some incredible parties one day. For right now, though, it’s after school study sessions at your house, so you can have the pleasure of keeping your slippers on if you want to.

Control Issues

Girl, you’ve get ‘em! And everything about your chart is telling you to let go. If the group decides to do the skit in French class about a guy who dumps his girlfriend in a restaurant instead of your idea of asking for directions to the Eiffel Tower from a hot Italian on a motorbike, don’t sweat it. If your parents decide to go with your little brothers choice for a restaurant instead of yours, be cool. Focus on what you really want in 2006, what you want to be remembered for. You don’t want to be remembered in the year book as that girl who threw a tantrum in French, do you?

Money

You’ve heard it 100 times before: Never a borrower nor a lender be. And Cancer, your chart is loaded with warnings on this point. Don’t lend your money to anyone – even relatives. Especially relatives! It never works out, and you don’t want that particular cloud hanging over every family reunion or Sunday dinner for the rest of your life. Even if their story is particularly said or compelling, the charts don’t lie: don’t take anything at face value, especially someone who wants your money.

Escape

In the beginning of 2006, Cancer, you are going to be so focused on your stuff that you won’t have time to think about anything. About halfway through the year, though, you are going to be looking to escape the madness of everyone around you. A little alone time is just the thing to help you out. Take some time to disappear into your little nest (your room) and explore some new ideas through books. This will be just the escape you need, so that when you come back to the world, you will be able to handle everyone with renewed vigor.

If you decide to take that escape outside of the confines of your room, your house, your neighborhood, town, state – country? – Watch out. It’s hard to go back to your nice, safe life after tasting the exotic flavors that the world has to offer. If you’re not up for a large amount of change and the push and pull that comes from finding out that there is more than one way to live. Whether you decide to return home or weave your escape destination into your future plans, take what you learn from this time to help you build a solid foundation for your future.
