He loves me, He loves me not
By Deborah Kim
I remember him faintly saying my name,
A calling I wanted long ago.
Ah, why only in deep slumber,
Dost he pronounce me so?
I remember him burrowing his face into mine,
A feeling I wanted long ago.
Ah, why only in deep slumber,
Dost he need me so?
A remember his being, enveloping mine,
A belonging I wanted long ago.
Ah, why only in deep slumber,
Dost he want me so?
To these questions, the answer I got:
He loves me, He loves me not.
Corruption
By Deborah Kim
I long to corrupt the virgin,
The virginity of my heart.
When I shall say,
"Oh, I am in love!"
And cry out in despair.
My heart will ache,
My soul will weep,
And my eyes, though they be blind,
Shall witness every misery.
Then, I shall cry out,
"Oh, this cursed thing called love!
I wish thou hast never found me."
Crush
By Deborah Kim
Pardon me, I do believe,
That you've just looked my way.
And if I"m not mistaken,
I hear what your eyes do say.
They brighten when I am near,
And quiver when we speak-
Could it possibly be,
That you feel something for me?
Though I'm quite unsure
Where this would lead,
I do know one thing-
You've already planted the seed.
Your eyes, they seem to me,
So wanting yet so meek.
What is it exactly
From me that you seek?
Say the words and I shall reply.
Courage, young man, Give it a try!
For I'm much weaker
Than I might seem,
What my eyes beg,
Please do deem.
Your Sweet Dreams
By Deborah Kim
I found refuge for my weary soul,
In the comfort of your sweet dreams.
There, I was allowed to stay and rest,
My soul and her broken seams.
When I heal and again be whole,
I'll surely be sent on my way-
So I think I'll just stay broken,
That your dreams may let me stay.
Youth and Love
By Deborah Kim
Youth and love:
As one loses luster
The other dost suffer.
When youth is lost
Love fades away
With loss of youth
Faith in love dost stray.
Without faith
One cannot see
Alas, there's love
Right in front of thee.
